Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, Half Price is a self-proclaimed "non-profit party punk band" fighting back against an increasingly ridiculous world with satire, sarcasm and ska, driven by the belief that life is far too short to be taken too seriously. Since its inception in 2001, the band has released seven studio albums as well as a best-of album in the USA through New York punk rock label, Punk Outlaw Records. Over the past 25 years, Half Price has toured across southern Africa and Europe countless times.  The band has supported international acts ranging from Mad Caddies and Alien Ant Farm to Leftöver Crack and The Exploited, and has delivered high energy performances at several festivals including an appearance at the world-renowned Punk Rock Holiday festival in Slovenia in 2024.
